Deep Visuals Limited is a Cambridge-based new media company, focused on providing interactive software-based
installations for Museums and Galleries. We aim to surprise and delight visitors by providing them with
an engaging experience through our discreet but exciting technology, either as part of a live visit or
as an addition to the organisation's website.
Deep Visuals Limited emerged from the Kodak European Research Labs, which were closed at
the end of June 2009. Alan Payne, formerly Kodak European Research Director, and Peter Fry, formerly head of the
Intelligent Imaging group at Kodak, launched this new company and have secured a
number of contracts with Eastman Kodak in the US to continue their research into new concepts for engaging
end-users with their image collections.
Building on this extensive experience, the company is now actively developing applications for museums and
galleries, many of whom have in place extensive digitised collections for which Deep Visuals' technology is
ideally suited.
